Christian McCaffrey was arguably the most dangerous offensive playmaker in football this past season. Now, he has the Madden rating to back that up.
EA Sports announced Wednesday that McCaffrey has returned to the vaunted 99 Club ahead of the 49ers' Super Bowl LVIII matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs:

The 27-year-old rushed for an NFL-leading 1,459 yards to go along with 14 touchdowns, and he wasn't done there, catching 67 passes for 564 yards and another seven scores.
He's been just as effective in the playoffs, with 188 rushing yards and four touchdowns to go along with 11 receptions for 72 yards across two games.
So it's only fitting that he's among the top players in Madden. He joins Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald, Minnesota Vikings wideout Justin Jefferson, Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce and Miami Dolphins wideout Tyreek Hill in the exclusive 99 Club.
