Personal Statement

    Thank you for this opportunity to introduce myself.  I attend St Pius X High School, a parochial college predatory school. I have a 3.9 GPA. Education is of the upmost importance to me.  I have the opportunity to continue to play the game I love and use it to help me get a college education. I have been playing volleyball since 6th grade. I started to play club in 7th grade.  I have played on the 1 team since starting club volleyball. I am a 3 year varsity player and was  second team All State libero my Junior year. 

    I have had to work very hard and earn my position every year. I truly appreciate hard work. I have also had a club team that fell apart and understand the importance of being a good team mate and a leader. I have had very good coaches at Albuquerque Rebels Volleyball Club that have challenged me to improve physically and mentally. I played up my sophomore and junior year and was a leader on my team. 

    I am a very hard worker. I am very coachable and take instruction very well. I am very consistent passer and server. I enjoy a challenge. I am looking forward to my future challenges as a college student and volleyball player.
