Personal Statement

It has  been a hard time to be a runner in New York. My fall season consisted of no official meets., as my school followed strict Covid protocols. In addition, winter track has been delayed until 2021 and there will be no state championship.

Luckily, I am a multi -sport athlete. I really believe in staying well rounded in school and in sports.  Running is my passion, but I am also a rower and was a competitive swimmer until last year when it became too difficult to balance academics with such a busy athletic schedule.  I also compete in triathlons during the summer. 

I would love to run in college, but since in high school I am not just doing one thing all the time, I know that I will not burn out, and I will be able to improve so much when I am just focusing on my running! I can’t wait to be at a school  with great coaches and teammates who will push me to be my best
