Andrew Trowbridge, a beloved son, friend, and talented journalist, left this world at the age of 35 over the weekend.
Despite his untimely passing due to a short illness, Trowbridge’s passion for sports and his commitment to excellence will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Born and raised in Ham Lake, He pursued a degree in journalism from the University of Minnesota.
His hard work and dedication to his craft paid off when he landed an internship at KARE 11 and eventually worked his way up to become a Sports Producer.
Andrew lived his life to the fullest and enjoyed traveling with his close group of friends, affectionately referred to as his “band of brothers”.
Andrew was preceded in death by his father, Philip Trowbridge, and his grandparents, Don & Donna Steele, Lyle & Elizabeth Trowbridge. He leaves behind his loving mother, Wendy, and extended relatives.
A celebration of Andrew’s life will be held on Thursday, 2nd February 2023 at the Kozlak-Radulovivh Blaine Chapel, where friends and family can come together to share memories and pay their respects to a truly remarkable man.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Randy Shaver Cancer Research & Community Fund in honor of Andrew’s life and legacy.

With a career spanning nearly 15 years at the Twin Cities NBC affiliate, Trowbridge began as an intern in the sports department and worked his way up to producing for a variety of programs, including the weekend and weeknight sportscasts, “Vikings Extra,” and Randy Shaver’s “Prep Sports Extra.”
