Personal Statement
I started playing lacrosse in 7th grade as an attacker. Our goalie got hurt my 8th grade year, and without hesitation, I jumped at the opportunity to learn a new position. After only one game of playing goalie, I knew I had found my new position. I currently play for the varsity team at my high school and for my summer club teams, MFL and AWA. I also give private lessons to younger goalies in my free time.
When I am on the field, I coach my defense and communicate what I see from my crease. I pride myself on being early to all practices and games, allowing myself plenty of warm-up time, and getting extra reps in with my coaches. Not only do I work hard when on the field but I work hard academically. My goal is to keep straight A's throughout the remainder of my high school years. I strive to be the best I can be and nothing less.
