Personal Statement

Hi, my name is Ayanna Watson. I am born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. I live with my mom, dad, and two little sisters. In my free time I like to go to lunch, shop with my friends and play with my little sisters. I have lots of family in Las Vegas as well in Nashville, Illinois and California. Growing up I played basketball. I thought that would be the sport I would pursue. In 5th grade my mom made me tryout for my school volleyball team. I fell in love with the sport instantly. The feeling I get when I have a game winning block, an amazing kill or dig someone's ball is indescribable. My Dream- Be a top recruit in the country for class of 2026 and play D1 volleyball at a school where I can grow mentally, physically, and academically.
