Carolyn B. Britton – Metropolitan Funeral

Carolyn Beatrice Britton passed away on August 5, 2020. She was born to the late Ned Randolph Britton, Sr. and Sarah Beatrice Britton, and preceded in death by her son Michael T Britton, Sr., grandson Kenny Hall, grandson Eon Small, brother Ned Britton, Jr., sister Shirley Britton Smith, sister Olivia Britton, and brother Clarence A. Britton.

She leaves to cherish her memories, a son Darrell A Britton, Sr., 8 grandkids (Monique, Lakeya, Brittany, Aaliyah, Isaiah, Darrell Jr,. Katrese, Michael Jr.), 16 great-grand kids, 2 great great grandkids, a loving sister Dorothy Britton Norfleet, a special niece Sheila Britton Austin, a special nephew Linwood A Britton, a special great great niece Jermeka Britton and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Carolyn attended Norfolk Public Schools as a child and went on later to work as a domestic worker. She was best known and will ALWAYS be remembered as the one to bring “JOY” and “LIFE” to all family/friend gatherings she attended. Dancing with “BAD KNEES” will also be a memory that we will forever cherish along with remembering how she expressed enjoying life thru
“SMILES”, “JOKES”, “HAND HOLDING”, and “LAUGHTER”.
