Personal Statement

Hi, my name is Chyna Davis and I am absolutely in love with volleyball and I want to continue at the Collegiate level with others who share the same love. I am an AWESOME team player and a great competitor I will not go out without a fight. I am a great leader who pushes my team mates and myself to be better on and off the court. I am an avid believer in taking responsibility for your actions 
“Do your job so I can do my job and we can get the job done!”on and off the court.  
I'm a firm believer in the way you practice is  how you play in the game. Giving your all in every game and practice is a stong virtue that every player needs to be mentally tough to pull through each match. I am always thinking of what is best for the team and not just myself. I work very hard to not only keep my grades up, but to make sure that my team mates' grades are on point by i helping them as much as I can or give advice on what is in their best benefit. 

My collegiate goal is to play college level volleyball after high school and to better my skills. I think what makes me a good candidate for their team is my character, I am coachable and I always ask questions to gain more knowledge on how I can improve. What makes me different from other recruits in academics, I always strive to get A's and I make sure I put my best effort in everything I do.
