SEATTLE (CNN) -- Mary Kay Letourneau, the former teacher in prison for having a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old boy, is six weeks pregnant -- and the boy could possibly be the father.
In February, Letourneau -- who has already had one child with the teen -- was found by police alone with him in a car, in violation of a judge's order that she stay away from him.
The judge in the case, who had originally suspended her sentence on child rape charges, subsequently sent her to prison to finish an 89-month sentence.
Saturday, her attorney, David Gehrke, confirmed the pregnancy, which was first reported by the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. He said he did not ask Letourneau who the father was "and she didn't volunteer to tell me."
But Gehrke conceded that the father was probably the boy, now 14, whom Letourneau considers the love of her life. And he says if that is the case, she may face additional charges.

"She's upset that this news came out so early in the pregnancy," Gehrke said. "It seems like someone at the prison had access to her medical records and released the information prematurely without her permission."
He said because his client has had problems in previous pregnancies, she wanted to wait until the first trimester was over to make her condition public. He said she told him the father of the child is aware of the pregnancy.
"She's concerned about how this will lay on her future, her children, her image," he said. "It's another blow to everyone."
Letourneau, 36, was the married mother of four children when she initiated the relationship with the boy, a former student, in mid-1996. She was fired from her teaching post when the relationship was discovered in early 1997, and she subsequently gave birth to a girl, who is now being cared for by the boy's family.
Her husband divorced her and moved to Alaska with the four other children. Letourneau plead guilty to second-degree rape.
In January, a judge gave her a suspended sentence on the condition that she get counseling and stay away from the boy. But when they were discovered together again, Letourneau was sent to prison.
The boy reportedly told a youth counselor that he and Letourneau had sex after she was released.
Gehrke said provisions would be made for Letourneau to have the baby at the Washington Correctional Center in Purdy, where she is incarcerated.
"Mary should be able to give birth and keep the infant for the first six months," he said, adding that it was too early to think about who would eventually get custody of the baby.
