Cowboys rout Eagles on Sunday Night Football in crucial NFC East showdown: Highlights, game stats and live updates

There are few cornerbacks in the NFL who have the combination of Stephon Gilmore’s talent and pedigree.
Gilmore, who turned 33 in September, is a Super Bowl champion, the 2019 Defensive Player of the Year who has multiple Pro Bowls and All-Pro selections to his name and has led the league in interceptions. He’s racked up these accomplishments while having a mild-mannered temperament, something that’s relatively uncommon for guys playing his position.
That’s why it was jarring to see him lock helmets with All-Pro wide receiver A.J. Brown in the first half of the Dallas Cowboys’ 33-13 win over the Philadelphia Eagles.
“It was fun,” Gilmore said. “I just didn’t like it (that) he called me old at the beginning of the game. It lit a fire in me a little bit.”
Brown was expressing some sportsmanship and Gilmore laughed it off, right?
“I was mad,” Gilmore said. “I was going to show him. That’s the only thing I could do, is just show him that I’m still here. I think I did that today.”
