Personal Statement

Wrestling has been my life since Kindergarten. Since the age of 5, I have loved the sport. The physical and mental aspects of wrestling have made me who I am today.  I would be an excellent candidate for many teams, because I am driven and motivated to be the best I can be.  At practices, I always strive to be the hardest worker in the room, to be the best version of myself, and to inspire my teammates to do the same.  Similarly,  I am proud of my academic success, as I have kept over a 4.0 GPA for both Freshman and Sophomore years.  At the conclusion of Freshman year, I was even ranked #1 in my class.  I am excited and hopeful to continue my wrestling career at a university which best fits me, both academically and athletically.
