Danny O’Donoghue is an Irish singer-songwriter and front man of the band The Script. He was born in Dublin in 1980 and dropped out of school to pursue music. O’Donoghue was a member of the band Mytown before forming The Script in 2001 with drummer Glen Power. Their self-titled debut album reached #1 on the Irish Album Chart in 2008, and their second and third albums, “Science and Faith” and “#3”, were also successful. O’Donoghue co-wrote all of the songs on the first two albums, which have been certified 5x Platinum by the IRMA. The band’s biggest hits include “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved”, “Breakeven (Falling to Pieces)”, “For the First Time”, “Nothing” and “Hall of Fame”.
