The venture capitalist grew up in Holmdel, New Jersey, in the United States. He is an American citizen who belongs to the white race. He is presently a resident of New York City, USA. At Holmdel High School, he finished his high school education. He afterward enrolled at Boston University, where he graduated in 1998 with a master of science in clinical exercise physiology.
He continued his schooling at The Wharton School, where he graduated with a master’s in business administration with a venture capital concentration.

His career began in 2002 as a strategy and business development director at IDT Telecom, where he worked for three years. Later, in 2011, he became a director at Profitably Incorporation, where he remained until 2014.
