Designing Christmas Cast, Release Date and Movie Plot

Hilary Farr is playing Freddy in the upcoming movie Designing Christmas from Discovery Plus. Farr is a world-renowned designer and the star of HGTV's Love It or List It. 

Hilary Farr was born in Toronto, Canada, but raised in London. She has hands-on many things including designing, hosting, and acting. According to her personal website, Hilary is focusing her creative eye on product design, demonstrating new life to drab places through remodeling and creating an entirely new universe of collections for the home.

Hilary started her career in Los Angeles renovating houses and worked as a set designer for movies and television. She performed a few cameos in a number of films under the stage name Hilary Labow including Layout for 5 Models (1972), Never Mind the Quality, Sex Farm (1973), Feel the Width (1973), The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975), Legend of the Werewolf (1975), City on Fire (1979), and The Return (1980).

Farr appeared in supporting roles in a few television sitcoms in the early 1980s. Farr refurbished the Chicago apartment of famous celebrities like Jennifer Hudson, Jenna Elfman, and many more.
