Dr Pimple Popper has treated many patients in her time, one time she saw two at once, mother Yolanda and daughter Gloriana. Unfortunately, she couldn’t help Yolanda this time but she got down to removing Gloriana’s shoulder cyst that oozed a ‘ground beef’ substance. Nice!
The TLC show has been entertaining popaholics for years, so while we patiently wait for a new season announcement, let’s throw it back to Gloriana’s shoulder cyst removal.
Mother and daughter duo visit Dr Lee’s office
The mother and daughter duo, from Costa Rica, visit Dr Pimple Popper’s office as they’ve both been living with lumps on their bodies for years.
The daughter has a big one on her shoulder, which she’s had since she was just 9 years old. Although she doesn’t reveal her full age, she says she’s a little older than 27, so we can assume the lump has been there for two decades.
Upon further examination, Dr Sandra Lee noticed it was a cyst.
It’s then on to the mother, who shows Dr Lee a lump on her back, which she’s had for a whopping 27 years!
Yolanda’s lipoma is “deeply buried” under a layer of fat, according the the doctor, who advises her to lose a bit of weight before removal, to make it an easier, and safer process.
She decides not to go ahead with the removal, however, Gloriana is raring and ready to go!

Sandra goes ahead with the removal, although poor Gloriana is a little nervous, as she has a phobia of needles.
Wasting no time, Dr Pimple Popper goes ahead to squirt the mess out, and this time it’s the patient’s mother with the food analogies, who says the brown substance looks like “ground beef.” Maybe they would go well with the mashed potato cyst!
The doc then goes on to explain how the content inside cysts can be “all colors of the rainbow.” However, she says she’s never seen neon, but we’re sure she’s still got that to come.

“She has angel hands”
Although she’s squeamish, the patient looks at the content of her cyst after the removal and agrees it does resemble ground beef.
The patient gushes about how happy she is with the results, saying she did not feel a pinch. “She has angel hands,” she says of the doctor.
Although she successfully removed Gloriana’s cyst, Dr Lee apologizes once again for not being able to remove Yolanda’s today, but hopefully, she will be back!
