Football agency ROOF adds Liverpool duo Virgil van Dijk, Harvey Elliott in UK expansion

Football agency ROOF has expanded to bolster its roster with players including Liverpool duo Virgil van Dijk and Harvey Elliott.

Leading agent Neil Fewings has joined the company as managing partner after more than 15 years at the Wasserman agency, where he was executive vice-president of global football.

Fewings, Nabile Hakimi and their team will help oversee ROOF’s UK and European expansion and Fewings’ arrival will see a string of high-profile names join the agency.

Van Dijk, Elliott, Tammy Abraham and Ademola Lookman will now be represented under the ROOF umbrella, joining existing clients including Sadio Mane, Kai Havertz, Naby Keita and Serge Gnabry.

ROOF has added a London office to ones in Munich and Madrid as part of its strategic growth plans.

The agency already represents a number of other players across the continent including Barcelona’s Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Werder Bremen’s Niklas Fullkrug and RB Leipzig trio David Raum, Xaver Schlager and Konrad Laimer.
