Personal Statement
My name is Franki and I currently play for the 19AAA San Diego Angels girls' team. As a 2008, I'm one of the youngest players on the team so I'm counting on this year (2023/2024) being a great developmental year for me in speed and decisiveness. I've had the great opportunity to play for different clubs, and I added boys High School hockey to the list for 2022. I really like what each Coach brings to my development. As far as tweeks and corrections to my skills, and I think working with a different team really helps me learn how to adapt quickly to new players. I feel like I have great at-net presence as well as whole-ice awareness. I'd like to focus on explosiveness and power this season, and I'm really working hard to make the personal goals I've set for myself. I'm definitely interested in Boarding Schools with girls hockey, and I would also like to be considered as an Individual player for off-season tournaments. In addition to traveling a lot with my team, I also work a part-time job at a restaurant and I volunteer with at-risk youth after school when my schedule allows. I love hanging out with my core group of friends at the beach in California!
