On May 26, 2010, in a panicked 911 call, Gary Coleman’s wife informed the scene after the ex-child star apparently fell and split his head from the back, spilling blood everywhere and causing fear for his life.

Shannon told emergency dispatchers, “He just got home. I heard this big bang, and I went downstairs. There’s blood everywhere, I don’t know what happened. He fell, and I don’t know. There was blood all over, and I couldn’t do anything.”

She said that Gary was initially unconscious and bubbling at the mouth.

Throughout the five minutes of conversation with 911 dispatchers, she said Garry regained consciousness, sat up, and tried to stand up, despite her protestations.

She informed the dispatcher, “He’s sitting up now, but his head’s all bloody in the back… I looked at the back of his head and saw it all bloody and gross. Garry, don’t move. Stay there, OK? You have to keep pressure on your head.”

Shannon said at one point, arguing with Gary Coleman, his groaned words were not clear in the call.

Gary, who was 42 years old and a former child star, was taken to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center when he suffered an intracranial hemorrhage.

He received life support but unfortunately, he succumbed to his condition two days later on May 28, 2010.

But Gary’s condition soon grew dire, and he died the next day.
