Personal Statement
I started playing basketball when I was 6 years old and I really enjoyed playing the sport. Basketball was something that gave me a strong desire to continue to learn and improve both on and off the court. I am a team player and I believe in positive attitudes and I strive at being a coachable athlete. I'm thankful for my parents who are able to get me to all of my practices and trainings, both early in the morning and at night. They are always supportive of me and go to all my games.
My AAU coach Brian Hoffman has been a tremendous person and coach to look up to. He really has helped me improve and learn the value of teamwork and commitment. I know that training with him these past 4 years has really given me a lot of confidence in myself and I enjoy training with his program.
I want to continue to play basketball after high school. I want to go to a college that would be a great fit for me, not just at playing basketball, but to also continue my education as I am a student first. I am really interested in Computers and program design. I believe that not only I have the talent to compete at the college level, but I also have the work-ethic and influence to make an impact on a college program.
