Griffin Mangum Obituary, Death – We convey with heavy hearts the news of Griffin Mangum’s departure. He departed this morning to be with the Lord. We kindly request prayers and support for his bereaved family, friends, and loved ones during this trying time. Griffin and his family dedicated more than ten years of their lives to the close-knit Brandon Show Choir Family, so his departure will be greatly mourned.

A treasured member of the community, Griffin Mangum was not just appreciated for his artistic abilities but also for the dazzling energy he brought to every interaction. Matthew 5:14–16, one of his favorite verses, sums up his life perfectly: “You are the light of the world, like a city on a mountaintop that cannot be hidden. A lamp is never lit and then placed beneath a basket. Rather, a lamp is positioned atop a stand, providing illumination for every person within the home.

Let your good deeds also be visible to everyone so that they will all give thanks to your heavenly Father. Griffin was, in fact, a bright light among us. For those fortunate enough to know him, his warmth, generosity, and love shone through in their lives. He left an enduring impression on everyone around him with his love and cheerful spirit.

It’s clear that Griffin leaves behind more than just his musical ability as we struggle to come to terms with his untimely death. He led a life that was characterized by kindness and altruism. Let us look to Jesus for comfort at this trying time and find strength in encouraging and praying for one another.

Griffin will always serve as an inspiration to us, serving as a constant reminder to let our own lights shine brightly for everyone to notice. Let’s honor the wonderful life Griffin Mangum enjoyed with all of us while we grieve the loss of a close friend. Please join us in sending up prayers and thoughts for Griffin’s family as well as for one another. May he rest in peace for all eternity.
