Personal Statement

Entering my Freshman year for lacrosse, I knew that I would have to be one of the hardest working players on the field in order to make varsity. Therefore, in that first week of tryouts, I pushed myself beyond my previously set limits. I ran the fastest mile I had ever ran, ranking in the top 5 in the team, along with grinding on every agility and strength drill I was tested with. Therefore, because of my hard work, I was rewarded through being one of two freshman to make Varsity. From there, I have continued my hard work. On the field, I never let a ground ball be taken from me, and never give up on the play, no matter what. It is this hard work and determination that has gotten me to being a starter on an 11-1 team.

Furthermore, I believe that I can be an asset to any time that takes that chance on me. I will outwork everyone, and use my internal drive to strive to be the best not only on the team, but hopefully in the conference. This hardwork has translated to off of the field as well, as in the classroom, I will not stop studying until I believe I am int he best position to succeed.
