How old was Aang when he died? This iconic anime has been liked by several people around the globe. Korra fans noticed at the beginning of Avatar that Aang met his death in an unexpected way and age.

The co-creators of Avatar, Bryan Konietzko, and Michael Dante DiMartino, could have directed his death in a lighter way as Aang was the central character of the show.

In the original Nickelodeon show, Aang is presented as a fun-loving kid who is twelve years old, but the co-creators of the show did an excellent job of featuring Aang with enormous power and guilt. His character is depicted as compelling and complex.

In the final battle, Aang gets into a fight with Fire Lord Ozai. This episode was noted to be the best in history. Some of the show’s fans had made sense of anti-climax because Aang’s death was off-screen.

However, the two series have a lot more mystery behind his premature death, which could have been caused by violence and corrupt power.

In The Legends of Korra, fans find out that Aang falls into a relationship with his friend, Katara. She is also a steadfast ally from the original series.

Then, Aang marries her, and the couple welcomes three children. Their children were the non-bending Bumi, water-bender Kya, and air-bender Tenzin. Before entering middle age, he wanted to make a more peaceful world.

Later, he starts having a feeling of being frozen in ice for centuries. Eventually, he settled his affair and passed away in 153 AG.

How old was Aang when he died?

As you watch the series, you will find out the different stages of Aang’s life.

He had to struggle during his early life, and at an early age, he was in a showdown with Fire Lord Ozai. You will love that episode as Ozai is considered to be a dangerous character.

Later in the series, it was seen that Aang started to have a feeling of freezing himself in the ice for countless centuries. But he settles everything with his wife and dies at the age of 66.

Sixty-six years was the biological age of his body. It cannot be forgotten that Aang was frozen in the ice for more than 100 years. At the beginning of the series, everyone saw that Aang was frozen in the ice.

It was seen that Katara and Sokka somehow found a person frozen in the ice. Katara used her water-bending powers and broke the icebergs that had been holding Aang for the past hundred years.

He left his wife, Katara, and his three children after his death. He was not able to see his grandchildren at the time of his death, and it was later found that his grandchildren would grow up to become air-benders like he was.
