Personal Statement
Becoming Division 1 champions in Massachusetts in my sophomore year was probably one of the biggest highlights of my high school career. Everything started during my freshman year, my first year of football. Freshman year was most likely my favorite year of football. I was not too familiar with how to play the game at first, but as the practices went by I became better and more equipped to play in games. I also learned and developed some traits like determination, hard work and leadership; things that I like to implement into any sport I play.
I am a roughly 6ft, 175lb running back with a hand-timed 40 yard dash of 4.47. My greatest personal feat was being called up from freshman football to join the Varsity football team for their Thanksgiving game. It is the greatest for me so far because it helped me understand that with hard work, I can become better at what I'm doing and that I can always get even better. With the skills that I have acquired, and am still developing, I believe that I have the talents and skill to compete at the college level! As a three-sport athlete, I believe that I have what its needed to become a leader on your football team.
