The “Unleash the Dragon” Album

“Unleash the Dragon”, which came out on 30 November 1999, is the title of Sisqó’s first album.

In addition to “Incomplete”, it features other hit songs such as “Thong Song” and “Got to Get It”. The album was released through a New York based record label, Def Jam Recordings.

“Unleash the Dragon” peaked at No.2 in the US and No.15 in the UK.

By 2003 the album had sold over 6 million copies and was awarded with a 6× Platinum by the RIAA. It was certified 2× Platinum in Canada, Gold by UK’s BPI.

The album earned a nomination for the “Best R&B Album” award at the Grammys in 2001.
