The partner of New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, Clarke Gayford, has dismissed false rumors that he is facing police charges. 

In recent months, there have been numerous unfounded rumors circulating on social media platforms such as Facebook and Reddit, claiming that Gayford is facing court charges.

These rumors vary widely, with some claiming that he will appear before magistrates in different cities across the North Island of New Zealand.

This week, New Zealand Police cleared up the rumor mill by assuring the public that TV and radio presenter Mr. Gayford had never been charged with any offense. This was welcome news for fans of Mr. Gayford everywhere! 

As a demonstration of his good humor in response to the situation, he posted a tongue-in-cheek Jamie lee Curtis Instagram photo over the weekend with the caption: “Me and my criminal record – happy Friday everyone”.
