Jharrel Jerome Family Consists Of His Parents and Sister

Jharrel Jerome family is closely bonded with mom, dad, and a sister Ciara. Jharrel lost his grandfather seven years ago.

Jharrel also thanked his grandparents for helping him rise in the music industry.

Jerome's mother, Radoyka Dee Jerome, played a crucial role in shaping his career as an actor and singer.

She suggested he pursued acting when he was in the eighth grade, which prompted him to join a local youth theatre organization, the Riverdale Children's Theatre.

Jerome is of Dominican descent and identifies as Afro-Latino. He grew up in the Bronx, New York, with parents he described as "loving."

He grew up among his cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. He once revealed that his grandfather passed away of cancer in 2015, but his "soul still lives in him forever."

In a Q&A session, the singer displayed his grandfather's watch as one of his life essentials. He surely misses him and keeps his respect for the contribution he made in his life. 

Jerome attended and graduated from Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School and commuted daily to Manhattan by train. It is not much known about his father, but it is clear that his mother has been a significant influence in his life.
