Jordan Poole entered the NBA draft in 2019 and was selected by the Golden State Warriors. He had a promising start in his rookie season, scoring 13 points in his first NBA start. Later that year, he was sent to the NBA G-League but was called back and posted a new career high of 21 points in a game against the Orlando Magic.
In his second season with the Warriors, Poole had a breakout performance, posting new career highs of 26 and 38 points in games against the Phoenix Suns and New Orleans Pelicans, respectively.
