Karen Friedman Agnifilo husband Marc Agnifilo is an expert criminal lawyer and lead counsel. Marc is a former Manhattan Assistant District Attorney.
Marc currently works for Brafman and Associates law firm as a Senior Trial Counsel, a position he has held since August 2006, according to his LinkedIn profile. His legal career started much earlier in 1990.
However, before he could start arguing in favor of his clients in court, Agnifilo attended Connecticut College for his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Political Science between 1982 and 1986. He subsequently attended Brooklyn Law School for his JD in 1987 and graduated from the institution in 1992.
According to his profile on his eponymous website, Marc co-chaired Moot Court Honor Society for a year between 1989 and 1990. He was also honored with American Jurisprudence Award.
His legal career started at NY County District Attorney's Office as an Assistant District Attorney in 1990, right after his graduation. He served in the role for four years until 1994, he was also working at Manhattan District Attorney's Office as an Assistant District Attorney at the same time.
He started private practice in New York between 1994 and 1998 at the Law Office of Marc. A. Agnifilo. Marc moved on to the United States Attorney's Office as a Chief of the Violent Crimes Unit in 1998 and served there until 2006.
Marc has been involved with some of the most high-profile and sensitive cases in his career. According to his bio on his personal website Marc Agnifilo, he has worked with foreign nationals accused of spying on the United States of America for criminal activities.
