Karina Smirnoff designed the outfits she and partner Gavin DeGraw wore on last night's Dancing with the Stars, and pulled her inspiration from a mix of piano seduction and bed accessories. “The outfit is a glam version of an undergarment body suit wrapped in a silky bed sheet,” Smirnoff told InStyle.com of their style for their rumba to Billy Joel's "New York State of Mind." “The story is a couple comes home after a night on the town. The man is dressed in a tux, but takes his jacket off and stays in a white tux shirt—sleeves rolled up—and plays piano for his lady, while she sits on the piano, listening and admiring him." The pair received a 24 out of 30 for the routine, which he dedicated to his family for supporting his dream of becoming a musician. Watch their performance above.
