Katelyn Morgan's Women's Basketball Recruiting Profile

Personal Statement

I’m Katelyn Morgan (2017), point guard for Notre Dame Academy in Green Bay, WI. As a freshman, I earned the starting position on our State Championship team.  As a sophomore, I was among the top in the conference in both assists and steals, named All-Conference Honorable Mention, and selected as a captain leading our team to another Regional Championship.  This season, I was named captain and helped lead our team to Conference Championship and back to the State Semi-Finals, earning All-Conference Honorable Mention.  During this summer’s AAU circuit, I was named to the Jr Nationals All-Tournament team for the Oshkosh Best in Midwest Tournament.

In addition to my outside shot and leadership, my strengths are quickness, relentless defense, and court vision.  I have a strong work ethic and I work everyday to keep improving and helping my teammates to improve. I have a genuine enthusiasm for the game – I love to compete!

As a high honors student, I’m looking for a school that challenges me academically as well as athletically, and that will help me grow as a person
