Personal Statement

Hi, I'm Katie.  I am looking forward to going to college, learning and studying hard, and graduating into an exciting career!  I am a student who has worked very hard to overcome dyslexia. I am proud to have raised my GPA the last two semesters in spite of this hardship, and I am now the "go to" person in my Algebra II class! 

I am a low ball contact pitcher who excels at getting ground ball outs.  I am the starter for my travel and high school teams and I also play an aggressive outfield and 1st base.

I am an athlete who has the desire to win and give my best effort every time I am in the circle. I am also a leader who keeps my team in the game on the field and in the dugout. I simply love to play softball!
