Kenrece Deneen Baxter entered eternal life on Friday, November 5, 2021. Kenrece was born September 6, 1964, in Greenwich, CT; the fifth and youngest child of Winnifred Baxter.
A beautiful girl with a pleasant disposition, Kenrece attended Saint Mary’s High School in Greenwich where she was a bright student with many friends. She excelled at volleyball and was also a cheerleader. After graduation, Kenrece went on to work numerous jobs including local banks, where she pleased many customers with her professionalism and infectious personality.
Not one without wanderlust, Kenrece moved to Florida for a short while before returning to Greenwich. After a few years, she again decided it was time to travel, so she moved to the coastal region of Virginia.
Kenrece continued her education by enrolling in ITT Technical Institute, where she completed a degree in Computer Technology. The joy she felt after successfully earning this diploma, gave her a new lease and outlook on life. She was so inspired by this personal success, that her lingering health challenges became of no apparent consequence to her.
Sadly, as fate would have it, not too long after completing her curriculum, Kenrece’s life became further complicated by additional health challenges. Those of us who loved her, and were cheering her resilience, shared in her initial dismay at these new developments.
As she had done before, and after a lengthy period of battling challenges; Kenrece once again rose like the Phoenix from the fire and was seemingly embarking on a brighter tomorrow when she was suddenly and unexpectedly called away from this life by The Lord God Almighty.
Kenrece will be sadly missed her family and friends. She was predeceased by her father Ken and uncle Albert. She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving mother Winnifred, her fiancée and ever present companion Tim, aunts; Euphemia, Sylvia and Valeria, uncle Lloyd, sisters; Doris and Joanne, brothers; Tony and Nic, sisters-in-law; Bonnie and Mia, special nieces and nephews; Heather, KC, Walter, Tony, Justin, Darren, Brandon, Jordan, Andrew and Elisa, cousins; Glen, Pam, Rochelle, Adrian, Angela, Miriam, Nick, Christine, Nathalie, Mark, Mohammad, Johnny, Dee, Tanya, Jermaine, Brittany, Andre, Alexander, Sasha, Jamal, Jonathan; a host of other relatives and numerous friends. May she rest in Peace.
