Personal Statement

I am a 5'8 Right Handed Pitcher/3rd Baseman at Pebblebrook high school in Mableton, Ga, although I am open to switching to 1st base or whatever position I'm needed at in college. I have a 3.23 GPA ranked in the top 30% of my class. I run a 5' home to first, and weigh 225lbs. Playing baseball in college is a goal I expect to achieve. Failure is something I cannot stand. Many guys say they're driven, but fact of the matter is,  few are willing to do what others won't in order to accomplish what others can't. My current goals, as I am back in my offseason routine, are to continue to drop lbs add muscle mass and get faster. I will be working to get playing time as a freshman anywhere I go. I would like to go to a school with a great atmosphere where I can find balance between the class and the field. I take all opportunities to compete and love to show up on the big stage. I am open to different types of schools, although I would prefer one with a stable hierachy of coaches and courses in which I can major in Business; an environment in which I could learn from others and make an impact as soon as possible would be great. I will absolutely appreciate all opportunities given and look forward to competing at all levels.
