Lucy Mecklenburgh has been in the media for all the wrong reasons.

Her boyfriend, Ryan Thomas, has been involved in one of the biggest Celebrity Big Brother storms in history after housemate Roxanne Pallett wrongly accused the former Coronation Street actor of deliberately hurting her.

In her first interview since leaving the CBB house, Roxanne apologised for her accusations, stating that she got it “completely wrong” and that Ryan’s play-fight punches were not deliberate.

Fortunately, the U.K general public rallied to Lucy and Ryan’s during the controversy, and now we can celebrate just how cute the couple are on social media.

Lucy sent out a heartfelt message to her boyfriend on Instagram, admitting that it was incredibly hard to see him so upset.

Lucy’s Instagram read: It’s been the hardest couple of days. Watching the person u love go through hell. It’s been extremely upsetting and uncomfortable to watch. I still can’t imagine how painful this all must have been for him, I really can’t.”

In 10 days time, however, Ryan will be back in Lucy’s arms, and we really hope they pick up exactly where they left off.

Fighting for That Bouquet

Lucy and Ryan have been dating for just over one year, confirming their relationship in July 2017.

Ryan won over the former The Only Way is Essex star while filming Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls (new series set to air on Sunday, September 9th featuring Roxanne Pallett!).

And, while Ryan may not want to rush into things after a bitter split with his ex of six years, Lucy looks more than happy fighting over bouquets and stating her claim as next in line to get married.
