I’m a bit late in knowing about your untimely death but I’m still affected by it, nonetheless. I was a middle school kid living in Savannah, GA when I first heard you and Timbaland on the track “Up Jumps Da Boogie.” I had never heard a beat nor rapping style as unique as yours and I was infatuated with the song, for mostly your verse! Fate would have it that I would move to Hampton Roads, VA during my high school years and I was exposed further to the 757 musical culture. I learned to appreciate the local talent, such as yourself.
I always thought your rap flow was gifted yet different. Additionally, you seemed like a very chill, honest and respectable man. May you rest in peace, Magoo. I hope that when Jesus returns, you will be among those He takes with him to his eternal Paradise.
