Meri Brown is not unknown to doing live Instagram videos. It is especially helpful for keeping her LuLaRoe business on the rise.
Additionally, this online platform allows her to connect with fans and followers who want to chat.
Occasionally, the lives can go off base, and recently, it did just that. As she tried to advise about joining LuLaRoe, her Meri’s fans took over the chat. They were invested in something they considered much more important.
Fans hijack Meri Brown’s Live
It is not uncommon for it to take a turn when she goes live.
There was a time when fans could not stop commenting on Meri’s eyebrows and poor makeup choices. They have also turned their attention to criticizing her daughter, Mariah’s life choices.
It was much more positive this time, and maybe Meri did not mind her business life being completely taken over.
She initially addressed how to become a member of the LuLaRoe community.
Meri was set to tips on starting a productive business as she has fared exceptionally well.
However, as she attempted to offer suggestions and tools, the conversation turned to how good she looked. “I’m loving your hair like this,” one commented. Meri replied with a thank you but another echoed the same sentiment. When an additional follower said her hair was “On Point,” Meri chuckled and wrote another thank you.
It went from her offering advice on starting a business and putting all fear in the rearview mirror to how great Meri’s hair looked.
This is a big deal considering Sister Wives fans have recently been criticizing her desperation with Kody. It is as if she will take any little crumbs, but now she looks fierce and shows what a strong business woman she can be.
Meri Brown Establishes Her Businesses
When viewers first met Meri in 2010, she struggled to find her place outside of the Sister Wives home. Though she had been working, she was let go once her polygamist lifestyle was made public.
She was also seen attending school. Unfortunately, Meri admitted the presence of over a dozen children made it almost impossible to study. Luckily, the family had their TLC paycheck to fall back as well as a New York Times bestselling book.
Upon moving to Las Vegas, Meri joined her sister’s wife, Robyn, to create My Sister Wife’s Closet, a jewelry and accessories collection.
However, Meri had to tell Robyn that she was considering going back to school. The family soon broke down with Meri, seeking love and affection on the internet. It resulted in her getting catfished and the trust crumbling. The Browns started discussing a possible move as she built it back up, and Meri had other things swirling in her mind.
She has started selling LuLaRoe and was also very interested in purchasing a home in Parwan, Utah.
It had been in her family for decades before it had been sold, and her dream was to bring it back to the family as Lizzie’s Heritage Inn.
Even with a move to Flagstaff, she accomplished this and has maintained a successful inn, and is dedicated to LuLaRoe.
Part of keeping up with MLM businesses is being active on social media and going live to promote products. Yet, Meri’s fans do not often care about what she has to sell.
Meri Brown Catfish
In October 2015, during an episode of Sister Wives, Meri revealed that she was ‘catfishes’ after having a six-month online relationship with someone she thought was a man but a woman.
Meri met a man named Sam Cooper via Twitter, and they communicated for over six months claiming to be a 44-year-old businessman from Chicago, Illinois. He has twin boys with his wife.
She later found out that Sam was A Woman Named Jackie Overton. She has released two books about the scandal–”Almost Meri’ed” and “Almost Defamed: Life After A Public Scandal”–both in 2016.
During an exclusive interview with PEOPLE magazine she said: “During an emotional and vulnerable time earlier this year, I spoke with someone online who turned out to be not who they said they were.
I never met this person, and I regret being drawn into this situation, but I hope because of it I can help others who find themselves in similar circumstances.”
Meri Brown Weight Loss
Meri lost about a hundred pounds shifting from a BMI of 35.4 to 28.3. She lost about 3 pounds of weight in less than six weeks, making her seek medical care.
The results were shocking as her doctor assumed she had cancer, and she was lucky as the results were negative for the disease. Meri decided to lose unwanted weight and adjusted her eating habits and exercising.
