Cammi Tirico Proudly Reflects on Her Sports Career

In her freshman year, Cammi Tirico was the primary point guard for the Eagles, her school's team. Cammi played golf, basketball, and soccer for four years at Skyline High School.

Cammi received a total of 10 varsity letters, with 4 each from golf and basketball and 2 from soccer. Her basketball journey began in elementary school, where she was coached by Debbie her mother.

Debbie's guidance and expertise in fundamental defense and passing techniques helped Cammi throughout her elementary and middle school years.

Tirico made the most of her high school experience by engaging in a variety of extracurricular activities. She took part in Mock Trial, served as the editor of The Communicator High School's newsmagazine, was a Restorative Justice Mentor, and was part of Skyline DECA.

In addition, she worked as a YMCA coach and summer camp counselor during the "off-season." She has also delivered a Ted-Talk on "The Importance of High School Journalism," showcasing her passion for journalism and storytelling.

In addition to her impressive athletic and extracurricular accomplishments, Cammi Tirico graduated with a perfect 4.0 GPA, demonstrating her unwavering dedication to academic excellence.

Cammi discovered golf as a fun hobby with her dad and granddad, but her passion grew during her freshman year when she played with a close friend and was coached by Ashley Mantha.

She quickly fell in love with the sport and had some of her best memories riding with her teammates to and from matches. During her senior year, she shot an 84 at Regionals and earned a spot at the MHSAA Division 1 Golf State Finals, but her team missed the states.

Jordan Tirico Is An Athlete

Mike Tirico son Jordan Tirico is a player for the A.A. Skyline Eagles. According to his LinkedIn profile, he is an honors student in international security studies.

He attended Stanford University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with specializations in International Relations and Political Economy and Development. He studied there from 2019-2023 and achieved a grade of 3.79 out of 4.

He has worked in various roles including as a council member, food service worker, camper coordinator, and student research assistant. He has also served as a policy researcher, writing tutor, honors student, and congressional intern.
