Mike Tyson Added to Official List of Pallbearers for Muhammad Ali's Funeral | News, Scores, Highlights, Stats, and Rumors

Former world heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson will join the group of pallbearers for Muhammad Ali's funeral procession Friday in Louisville, Kentucky, as a late addition. 

According to ESPN.com, Ali family spokesman Bob Gunnell said Tyson arrived in Louisville from Las Vegas on Friday, and he will join the likes of boxer Lennox Lewis and actor Will Smith as part of Ali's ceremony beginning at 2 p.m. ET from the KFC Yum! Center.

Following Ali's death at the age of 74 last week, Tyson paid tribute to "The Greatest" with the following tweet:

With a record of 56-5, an Olympic gold medal and countless iconic moments to his credit, Ali is widely considered to be the best heavyweight and perhaps the greatest boxer of all time.

Tyson was once heralded as the second coming of Ali, as he began his career 37-0 with 33 of those wins coming by way of knockout.

While Tyson's shocking loss to Buster Douglas and late-career struggles left him short of reaching the heights Ali achieved, "The Baddest Man on the Planet" is unquestionably among the best ever, and his respect for Ali is apparent.
