A TV show is here to prove no one really needs clothes, food, or shelter. Naked and Afraid returns for an all-new season on February 18 and brings with it some fresh duos who are confident they can survive the wilderness. Fans are expecting “amazing things” from Naked And Afraid’s Cole and Shell but one survivalist already has some reservations about their partner.

Cole and Shell are ready to attempt to survive 21 days in South Africa. They haven’t met before, and when they do get acquainted for the first time, there’s not a piece of clothing in sight. The Naked and Afraid stars rely on one another in their partnerships as a means of getting by. If they can’t work together, they may not be able to complete the three-week challenge.

Meet Cole and Shell

Discovery Channel brings two newbies to Naked And Afraid this year. Cole and Shell both hail from the USA and want to try their hand at surviving in the wild.

Their grit, determination, and hunting skills are put to the test in the reality TV show’s premiere episode.

Shell works on a farm and hails from a small town east of Orlando, Florida.

Cole is from Texas and already has a wealth of experience of bow hunting.

Speaking of her partner, Shell said she’d “hit the jackpot” with Cole as he is a bow hunter.

Cole was also happy to be partnered with Shell, but he worried she’d experience “fatigue” earlier than him due to her low percentage of body fat.

Fans expect ‘amazing things’

Taking to the comments section of Cole and Shell’s intro video, many fans say they’re expecting “amazing things” from the duo.

Cole is ready to survive alongside Shell who he says is a “hard worker,” and fans agree the duo together “look promising.”

More are super excited to see the new season begin, and many want to see more episodes than they’ve received in previous seasons.

Duo have a ‘rough’ time

In a clip from season 17, Cole is seen explaining how its “freezing cold” at 7 am and adds: “Sleeping is actually the suckiest part.”

By day nine of the challenge, Shell agrees the days are getting “colder and colder.”

Cole continued on the subject of sleeping: “It doesn’t matter what you lay down on, it’s like sandpaper to your a**.”

Shell speaks to the camera: “Yesterday was rough. I’m probably going to take it easy today…” before she’s seen falling over.
