Nick Louis Yankovic and Mary Elizabeth are Weird Al Yankovic’s parents. His parents are citizens of the United States.

He is the only child of his parents. 

Yankovic’s mother relocated to California from Kentucky, where she worked as a stenographer. His parents got married in 1949 after having been childhood sweethearts.

His father was raised in California but moved there after receiving two Purple Hearts for his work as a doctor in World War II. He was born in Kansas City’s Strawberry Hill area.

Al once recalled how much his father used to talk about hoping to cross paths with some of his former army comrades in the hereafter. 

Al commented, ‘I really hope they’re enjoying a lovely reunion right now,’ after his father passed away.

According to Al’s father, the secret to success is “working for a living whatever makes you happy.” He lives by this way of thinking,’ revealed Weird Al Yankovic.

The Tragic Death Of Weird Al Yankovic’s Father & Mother

According to authorities, Weird Al Yankovic’s parents were discovered dead in their house, apparently from carbon monoxide poisoning. 

According to the Los Angeles Times, their fireplace accidentally poisoned them with carbon monoxide.

Family members found the remains of Nick Yankovic, aged 86, and Mary Yankovic, aged 81, around 1 p.m. on Friday, according to Sheriff’s Sgt. Conrad Grayson, a fire investigator.

Nick Yankovic was discovered by paramedics in a chair in the living room up front, while his wife was found dead on the bathroom floor.

Because they hadn’t seen the couple in a while and were worried, the relatives went to the residence to check up on them.

Nobody was aware of what took place inside the house or how they perished.

John Bushman, who resides across the street, claimed that ‘Nick was known by everyone who came to the area. They’re going to be greatly missed,’
