How to Move Faster in Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu & Eevee?

To move faster in Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu & Eevee, there are two options; one by land, and one by water. And, no, you can’t get a bike in Pokemon Let’s Go, like you could in the previous games. Instead, you can ride one of your Pokemon, which is way more cool. For example, you can ride your Charizard, like we are in the screenshot above. Or, you can ride a Pokemon on the ground if it’s the right size.

To do this, you have to have the Pokemon in your party. Select it, and choose “Take out of Poke Ball.” The Pokemon will then travel alongside you, and you’ll be able to automatically use it as a mount wherever there’s enough room for the Pokemon to fit. That way, you’ll move faster. Plus, if you’re riding a flying Pokemon like Charizard, you also get a better vantage point.

When it comes to travelling across the water, your Pokemon will have to learn the Sea Skim Secret Technique. Long story short: find the guy with the white bandanna and white tank top holding a surfboard in the Fuschia City GO Park complex. He’s standing next to a Lapras, which is swimming in a pool. Talk to him to learn Sea Skim. This will allow you to move across water at a fairly decent clip.

How to Fast Travel in Pokemon Let’s Go?

To fast travel in Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu & Eevee, your Pokemon has to learn the Sky Dash Secret Technique. You learn this from a specific NPC in Celadon City. From the east entrance into Celadon, take the first path down, just after the Pokemon Center. On the left, you’ll find the Rocket Gaming Center. There’s a guy standing outside the place, next to a contraption carried by balloons. Talk to him, and he’ll teach you the Sky Dash Secret Technique.

This technique allows you to fast travel across the world wherever and whenever you want. As you can expect, this is the fastest mode of transportation in Pokemon Let’s Go. All you have to do is open the map from the menu, select the square that you want to travel to, and then choose Sky Dash.
