Personal Statement

    Since a young age I have always had a love for the game. As a child and young teen, baseball has always been a game that I could improve upon. I have played five years of travel baseball and have experience winning well-known tournaments, such as the Cincy Flames Tournament and the New Era Classic. I was part of the team that placed 9th in the Cooperstown tournament in the summer of 2014. What will set me apart from other players is that I already have baseball experience, but I desire constructive criticism to grow and become a better baseball player. Throughout my high school years, my goal is to gain knowledge, better athletic skills, and become a respectable young man. I plan on achieving this goal by managing my time, so I can focus on schoolwork and dedicate time towards practicing baseball. By attaining this goal, I will be prepared to move on to college with an elite education and ability to play baseball at a college level. In college baseball, I plan on becoming such a skillful player that I could make it to the next level.
