Shane Battier was drafted by the Vancouver Grizzlies in 2001 and traded to the Houston Rockets in 2006. He then returned to the Memphis Grizzlies for the 2010-2011 season before signing with the Miami Heat in 2011.
With the Heat, Battier contributed to the team’s 2012 NBA Finals victory and the 27-game winning streak during the 2012-2013 season. Despite a poor playoff performance, Battier scored 18 points in a Game 7 victory over the Spurs in the Finals.
