Personal Statement
My goal is to play college baseball. I have been involved in sports for most of my life. I have played baseball, basketball, and soccer; additionally I competed as a level 9 gymnasts. Playing these sports have made me a well-rounded athlete, but I’m ready to focus on baseball. In the past two years I have been developing three pitches; fastball, curveball, and change up. My curveball has good movement and I can throw two different variations of the curveball. My change up sinks and goes towards a right-handed batter and my speed is 10-14 miles per hour slower than my fastball. I have been using this pitch more lately and it has been very effective. In school I enjoy math and science. I have not decided a major yet in college but I will be incorporating my strengths in math and science. I feel with my strong desire to play baseball in college and my current academic work, I feel I would make a strong candidate for any college. Please feel free to contact me.
