Suns' Jusuf Nurkić Trolls Warriors' Draymond Green After Remark: 'Still 😢 About KD' | News, Scores, Highlights, Stats, and Rumors

The beef between Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkić and Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green is far from quashed.

Green made what could be read as a subtle criticism of Nurkić during Inside The NBA on Monday night, arguing the Suns "have no big man." Nurkić fired back Tuesday on social media:

Perhaps they had some history before that, but the bad blood between Nurkić and Green seems to stem largely from when Green struck Nurkić in the face during Phoenix's 119-116 win over Golden State on Dec. 12.

While Green apologized after the game, Nurkić wasn't in the mood to accept any olive branches based on him telling reporters, "I feel like that brother needs help."

Green and the Suns big man were again pretty physical when the Warriors took down Phoenix 113-112 in their next meeting.

That prompted Nurkić to assert the four-time All-Star "didn't learn anything" during his suspension and remained the same player:

Since then, you've had Green calling Nurkić a "300 pound softy" and Nurkić responding in kind.

The 29-year-old's decision to evoke Draymond's long history with Durant in his most recent salvo was a little puzzling since Green's point seemingly had little KD-related subtext to it. He instead had the Bosnian center squarely in his sights.

Not to mention, this isn't an ideal time for Nurkić to be making any trash talk whatsoever. The Suns were swept out of the first round, an outcome that elicited plenty of mockery and discussion of how badly they've messed things up from a team-building standpoint.
