Final Score: Kansas City 25, San Francisco 22

The Kansas City Chiefs became the first repeat Super Bowl champion since the New England Patriots in 2004 and 2005 behind a game-winning drive led by Patrick Mahomes in overtime.

Mahomes hit Mecole Hardman on a three-yard touchdown pass in the right corner of the end zone in the final minute of the overtime period.

Mahomes produced an incredible second half and overtime in which the Chiefs overcame a seven-point halftime deficit against the San Francisco 49ers.

Kansas City fell behind and leveled twice in the fourth quarter in order to reach overtime.

Harrison Butker kicked field goals of 24 and 29 yards to complete drives of 12 and 11 plays.

At that stage, Jennings appeared to be in line to win Most Valuable Player. He also threw a touchdown pass in the second quarter.

That was San Francisco's last touchdown of Super Bowl 58. The 49ers settled for two field goals on drives in the fourth quarter and overtime.

Jake Moody nailed a 53-yard field goal, his second 50-yarder of the game, to move the score to 19-16.

Moody also hit a 27-yard field goal at the start of the overtime period. San Francisco was stopped on third down on its lone overtime series.

Mahomes answered Moody's final field goal with the game-winning drive that brought the quarterback his third Most Valuable Player award.
