Fans of The Undateables roared in excitement as season 10 launched on Wednesday, January 9th.
The Channel 4 series features a host of new faces, with episode 1 introducing us to Tobi, Michael and Emily.
It was the incredible Emily who stole the show on Twitter. So who is she? And what is Fragile X syndrome?

Who is The Undateables’ Emily?
Emily Clarke is a new cast member for season 10.
She is a 26-year old from York who is big on both tennis and shopping for unnecessarily sparkling accessories.
Emily also has a close-knit family with a super supporting sister in Phoebe.
Ahead of the show, Emily said:
All my friends have got boyfriends and I think it’s time for me to have one now. I have a great selection of hobbies and a good group of friends so the only thing missing is someone to cheer me on from the courtside.
What is Fragile X Syndrome?
Fragile X Syndrome is a genetic condition that causes learning disabilities and cognitive impairment
The condition delays the development of speech and language from as early as two years old and often causes anxiety, hyperactive behaviour and impulsive actions in children.

Certain physical features such as a long and narrow face, large ears, prominent jaw and unusually flexible fingers often become more apparent with age.
Emily and Mitchell
The moment Emily found out that she had been matched with someone for a date was one of the sweetest moment in TV history.
She burst into tears of excitement and gratitude… before immediately ordering a glass of champagne!
Emily and Mitchell’s date went swimmingly on episode 1, with Emily caught in a fluster over her dashing man – he arrived in a suit with flowers in hand, too!
The tea for two couldn’t have gone better as Emz and Mitch listed their endless similarities in teas, coffees, sandwiches and movies before closing with a second date confirmation.
