Carter Rubin of season 19 has won ‘The Voice’ 2020. Carter, who was part of Gwen Stefani’s team, is a 15-year-old who came on the show to achieve his dreams.
This is the first time Gwen’s team member has won the show. Carter was informed about his win from his coach Gwen, and undoubtedly, the news left him in a state of shock. Carter was up against four other singers, and he managed to come out victorious.

Carter Rubin has had music be a part of his life ever since he was a child. Carter’s brother and father play drums, and his mother was also a part of a music band. Carter had even hinted he might have got his musical talent from his family.
His family operates a non-profit called Families in Arms. The NGO was started in honor of Carter’s brother, Jack, who was diagnosed with autism. Carter also performs for the charity along with his brother. At the same time, he has always been active when it comes to performances. Carter has often taken part in school musicals along with community events.
Carter admitted in an interview that he was often bullied for being different. However, he managed to get past that and keep his confidence intact.

Carter, 15, came on the show to make his dreams come to life. His voice mesmerized all the judges, and he landed himself on Gwen Stefani’s team. Throughout his time on the show, Gwen had been a source of inspiration for Carter as she guided him through the ups and downs that he had on the show.

He even performed ‘You Make It Feel Like Christmas’ along with Gwen on the season finale. Gwen had always been vocal about how proud she was of Carter for making it so far. Fans were also happy to see Carter took home the prize as one wrote, “Congratulations, Carter! I knew you’d be The Voice. You are more than deserving of this honor. You are such an inspiration to so many people and at such an early age. I can’t wait to see the places that voice will take you.”
