American singer-actress Debbie Gibson grew up with three siblings in New York. Debbie is the third child of her parents and has three sisters in her family.

Debbie Gibson was born on August 31, 1970, in Long Island, New York. She studied piano with famous American pianist Morton Estrin.

The songwriter submitted the composition of her songs to WOR in 1983. Unexpectedly, she won the competition and a prize of $1000.

Later, in 1987, Debbie released her first album Out of the Blue, which was filled with international hit songs. The album was certified triple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. 

The song Foolish Beat turned Debbie into one of the youngest female artists to write, produce, and perform on the Hot 100 Billboard. Throughout the years, she has continued to make various singles and albums such as Electric Youth, Lost in Your Eyes, Girls Night Out, and many more. 

The producer has also worked in many films and shows like Mega Shark Versus Giant Octopus, The Music in Me, American Juniors, The Celebrity Apprentice, and Wedding of Dreams.

Debbie Gibson Siblings And Family

Debbie Gibson has three siblings who grew up in New York. The Lost in Your Eyes singer has sisters named Denise Gibson, Michele Gibson, and Karen Gibson.

Debbie's parents are Diane Gibson and Joseph Gibson. Her father was originally named Joseph Schultz but later changed his last name.

Joseph's biological mother was married to a man with the surname Gibson, and she changed his surname from Schultz to Gibson.

Likewise, both of Debbie's parents lived in the community of Merrick in Long Island, New York, when she was born. Diane and Joseph enrolled her in acting classes and dancing lessons. The musician also learned piano at a young age as she was fascinated by music. 

Over the years, Joseph and Diane became concerned about Debbie's ambitions but decided to support her instead of discouraging her. In an interview, Diane stated that the singer would have a career in music with or without their support.

The songwriter's parents also bought her various musical equipment and turned their garage into a mini studio for her to write and compose songs.

According to Page Six, Debbie thinks she has not been involved in much drama, thanks to her parents. Further, the 52-year-old considers her father a source of inspiration and maintains a great relationship with him. Before her mother passed away, Diane was Debbie's manager for several years.  

Sister Karen Gibson Lampiasi Has Four Kids With Jeff

Debbie Gibson has an elder sister named Karen Gibson Lampiasi, who is four years older than her. 

Karen is around 56 years old as of 2022. According to her Facebook profile, she completed high school at Sanford H. Calhoun High School, similar to her sister.

Lampiasi later went on to study music at Vassar College. As of now, Karen is married to her husband Jeffery Lampiasi and has four kids. 

Currently, she lives with her husband and kids in Ridgewood, New Jersey. Karen and her sister Debbie seem to be super close. Even though they live away from each other, their bond has not been affected.  

On December 28, 2021, the Out of the Blues singer posted an Instagram photo with her elder sister. Debbie captioned the image with a sweet message that, despite their physical distance, the sisters were always close to each other.

The actress added that her sister and brother-in-law had raised four amazing kids with such big hearts. 

Sister Denise Gibson Kublanov Is A Fashion Designer

Debbie Gibson youngest sister Denise Gibson Kublanov is about five years younger than her. 

As of 2022, Denise is around 47 years old; however, her exact birth date has not been revealed. She used to live in Merrick with her sisters and parents as a child. But, her current place of residence is not known to the public. 

As per a Twitter post made by the songwriter, her baby sister is a mother, wife, sister as well as a fashion designer. Denise has three children: two daughters and a son.

In the second season of Secret Celebrity Renovation, Debbie went to her childhood home and looked around the house. She wanted to see her childhood home; so, she contacted the current owners to see if they were willing to let her in.

As per Debbie, the singer used to share her room with her little sister during her childhood. 

Michele Gibson Is Two Years Older Than Sister Debbie

Debbie Gibson sister Michele Gibson is two years older than the record producer. 

Michele was born in 1968 and is 54 years old as of 2022. She is two years older than the actress, seven years older than Denise, and two years younger than Karen. 

The sister of the talented songwriter lived in Merrick, New York, with her three sisters and her parents during her childhood there. She is quite private about her life and is not on social media.

According to the official Debbie Gibson page, Michele used to design and sew the plaid ruffled skirt outfits by hand that she wore in her early videos. However, not much additional information is public about Michele at the moment.
