🤔 Interesting . . .

For anyone who happened to type "owner of the Jets" into Google's search bar Thursday afternoon, let's be clear: Tom Brady did not purchase the NFL franchise.

Someone must have hacked the system, as the New England Patriots quarterback momentarily appeared on top of the page.

The inquiry now yields Gang Green's actual owner, Woody Johnson, but Twitter documented the short-lived change.

This is what happens when you google "New York Jets owner." Haha! So they got hacked. I mean Brady does own the@ on the field @nbcboston

While Brady doesn't literally own the Jets, he has led the Patriots to 23 victories in 30 bouts against the AFC East foe. Yet his 6.97 yards per pass attempt, 62.1 completion percentage and 237.1 passing yards per game, per Pro-Football-Reference.com, are all below his career averages.

It would have made more sense to list him as owner of the Buffalo Bills, against whom he's 26-3 with 66 passing touchdowns and a 101.5 passer rating.
